Case study
200 m³/d Oil and Gas Fracturing Flowback Membrane Project
This project treats oil and gas fracturing flowback at a recorded scale of 200 m³/d. Dissolved-air flotation and PEK tubular membranes are combined for solid-liquid separation of oily flowback.

Project overview
This project treats oil and gas fracturing flowback at a recorded scale of 200 m³/d. Dissolved-air flotation and PEK tubular membranes are combined for solid-liquid separation of oily flowback.
Process route
Dissolved-air flotation → PEK tubular membrane oil and suspended-solids separation
Process roles
Upstream flotation is followed by tubular membrane filtration to separate retainable oil, particles and suspended solids. The clarified stream feeds the subsequent flowback-treatment duty.
