40 m³/h Vanadium-Mine Wastewater Softening and Membrane Treatment Project

This 40 m³/h project treats wastewater from vanadium-mine operations. Chemical softening and PEK tubular solid-liquid separation are followed by nanofiltration and reverse-osmosis concentration.

Project overview

This 40 m³/h project treats wastewater from vanadium-mine operations. Chemical softening and PEK tubular solid-liquid separation are followed by nanofiltration and reverse-osmosis concentration.

Plum supplied the complete process systems described for this project.

Process route

Chemical softening → PEK tubular membrane clarification → NF and RO concentration

Process roles

Chemical reactions convert hardness-related components into separable precipitates, and tubular membranes provide clarification. Downstream NF and RO perform their respective selective-separation, desalination and concentration duties.

The reverse-osmosis section follows Plum’s HRCC design concept.
