77 m³/h RO Brine Softening, Fluoride and Silica Removal Project

This project treats second-stage RO brine in a 77 m³/h softening and tubular-membrane section. Chemical treatment and PEK tubular membranes separate precipitates associated with hardness, silica and fluoride before downstream ion exchange.

Project overview

This project treats second-stage RO brine in a 77 m³/h softening and tubular-membrane section. Chemical treatment and PEK tubular membranes separate precipitates associated with hardness, silica and fluoride before downstream ion exchange.

Process route

Chemical softening → PEK tubular solid-liquid separation → ion exchange

Process roles

Chemical reactions first form separable solids, tubular membranes provide clarification, and ion exchange performs the corresponding polishing duty. Reaction, solid-liquid separation and polishing have distinct process roles.
