40 m³/h Mine-Water RO Brine Tubular-Membrane Softening Retrofit

This mine-water treatment-plant retrofit adds a 40 m³/h brine softening and tubular-membrane section. Chemical softening and membrane solid-liquid separation are installed at the interface with existing NF and RO systems.

Project overview

This mine-water treatment-plant retrofit adds a 40 m³/h brine softening and tubular-membrane section. Chemical softening and membrane solid-liquid separation are installed at the interface with existing NF and RO systems.

Process route

Chemical brine softening → PEK tubular solid-liquid separation → interface with existing NF/RO systems

Process roles

Softening reactions control scaling-related components in the brine, and tubular membranes separate the resulting solids. The case covers the added softening section, with existing NF/RO systems retained as process interfaces.
