Case study
50 m³/h Iron Phosphate Wash-Water Clarification and Metals Removal Project
This project treats wash water from iron phosphate production at a scale of 50 m³/h. The treatment train combines pretreatment, PEK tubular membranes, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis for wash-water clarification and metals removal.

Project overview
This project treats wash water from iron phosphate production at a scale of 50 m³/h. The treatment train combines pretreatment, PEK tubular membranes, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis for wash-water clarification and metals removal.
Plum’s scope of supply
Plum supplied the PEK tubular membrane system for this project. The nanofiltration and reverse osmosis stages in the overall project process were outside Plum’s scope of supply.
Process route
Pretreatment → PEK tubular membranes → nanofiltration → reverse osmosis
The PEK tubular membrane section separates solid particles within the treatment process and connects to downstream nanofiltration and reverse osmosis.
