10,000 m³/d Oilfield Produced-Water Deep Treatment Project

This 10,000 m³/d project treats oilfield produced water after oil-water separation. Tubular ultrafiltration is combined with electrodialysis and nanofiltration for deep treatment and subsequent reinjection use.

Project overview

This 10,000 m³/d project treats oilfield produced water after oil-water separation. Tubular ultrafiltration is combined with electrodialysis and nanofiltration for deep treatment and subsequent reinjection use.

Plum supplied the complete process systems described for this project.

Process route

Pretreatment after oil-water separation → tubular ultrafiltration → electrodialysis and nanofiltration desalination

Process roles

The tubular membrane stage separates residual oil, suspended solids and retainable impurities. Electrodialysis and nanofiltration provide downstream desalination and adjustment of mineral content, with distinct roles for solids separation and dissolved-salt treatment.
